The area for the future children's hospital has already been cleared, announced the Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev before the start of the regular government meeting.

Glavchev recalled that the previous government had already undertaken to clear the area for the children's hospital. Glavchev informed that next week he and Health Minister Dr Galya Kondeva will go to the site and see exactly how the procedures will continue.

The Prime Minister assured that work will resume at an accelerated pace so that there is no backlog.

On August 7, Dimitar Glavchev announced that the deadlines for clearing the site were being shortened and gave a deadline for this to be done within two months. He explained then that there is already a new hospital project, according to which the beds in the future medical facility will be 422 instead of the 404 planned in the previous project. It is also planned to have 24 clinics and departments. The efforts of all of us are to have a child psychiatry department in the hospital, the Prime Minister announced in August.
