About HICCH
"Health Investment Company for Children's Hospital“ is a commercial company with 100% state ownership, regulated by Order No. 3 of the Council of Ministers of 21.07.2020. The sole owner of the capital of the Company is the state, represented by the Minister of Health. The subject of the Company's activity is the performance of all activities permitted by law, related to the organization and control of the construction and commissioning of a Facility of National Importance "Construction of a National Multiprofile Children's Hospital".
The history of the construction of a National Children's Hospital is long and complex, starting 44 years ago, in 1978, going through many governments, political changes and generations. The construction of a children's hospital should not consist of interests, prosecutors, money and interrogations - but of timely health care, charity and experience - despite illnesses, childhood should be childhood and every child should grow up.
It is time for this process to remain in HISTORY and the degeneration of the National Children's Hospital to become a reality, present and future. We are obliged and responsible to our children to build a hospital in which they will receive adequate care, treatment and security. Caring for the health of our children is an attitude towards the future of our nation. Every child is a part of the future, and we MUST be responsible for it.
Our mission
Conscientious and effective implementation of the role of the state in the person of the Ministry of Health to organize and control the activities of designing, building and commissioning a National Multiprofile Children's Hospital, which will meet the national needs of children's healthcare and ensure the implementation of current global experience and standards for the best care for children.
Ensuring high expertise in decision-making and organizing design stages, including the selection of the optimal location, construction, control, commissioning of the National Multiprofile Children's Hospital and requirements for subsequent operation, with each stage and decision being supported by external opinions of state structures, municipal structures, professional and industry organizations, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders.

Maximum effective and conscientious implementation of activities for the organization and control of the construction and commissioning of a Facility of National Importance "Construction of a National Multiprofile Children's Hospital", introducing a modern multiprofile children's hospital, meeting all European and world standards, a hospital that will care for the children of Bulgaria and the European Union.
