"More than 50% of the properties that are the responsibility of the Sofia Municipality (SM) and are necessary for ensuring transport access to the National Children's Hospital have been expropriated. Sofia Municipality has initiated the expropriation of properties for transport access to the hospital, which is planned to be constructed in the 'Gorna Banya' neighborhood. The expropriated properties are located along the path of the future so-called 'Western Tangent'. A preliminary analysis has been carried out, and expropriation procedures have begun for 21 land plots and a building, which are currently at various stages. This was clarified in a public report by Sofia Municipality."
It is recalled that SM, the Health Investment Company for Children's Hospital, and the Road Infrastructure Agency signed a cooperation and coordination agreement for the construction of the transport and technical infrastructure providing access to the future National Multiprofile Children's Hospital. Several working meetings are also being held regarding the implementation of these commitments.
