First joint meeting on access to the National Children's Hospital

On the initiative of the Health Investment Company for Children's Hospital (HICCH), a joint meeting was held dedicated to the construction of the road infrastructure for the future National Multiprofile Children's Hospital. For the first time, all institutions responsible for the process participated. The goal is to achieve coordination of actions and a clear schedule so that the work on access to the medical facility proceeds in parallel with its construction.

The meeting took place at the Sofia Municipality building and was attended by Ms. Desislava Malinova, Director of "HICCH", Mr. Nikola Lyutov, Deputy Mayor for Public Construction, Eng. Yordan Valchev, Chairman of the Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, as well as representatives from the Architecture and Urban Planning Department and the municipal enterprise "Sofia-Project".

Synchronized Actions and a Common Plan The participants united around the need for synchronized actions regarding the expansion and construction of key road links, including the Western Tangent, the Ring Road, adjacent boulevards, and the internal street network. For the first time, all parties committed to preparing a joint plan. By the next meeting, each institution will prepare specific tasks and deadlines for their implementation, which will be included in a general linear schedule. Agreement was also reached on introducing monthly working meetings to track progress and resolve current issues.

Functionality from Day One "HICCH" took responsibility not only for the construction of the hospital itself but also for ensuring it is fully functional from day one. This means working infrastructure, easy access, and reliable logistics. "Today we took an important step by bringing together all responsible institutions and outlining a common path with clear deadlines and actions," stated Ms. Desislava Malinova.

The meeting marks the beginning of key coordination that will ensure the new National Multiprofile Children's Hospital is built in sync with the necessary infrastructure.
